Beliefs are not worth
much unless they are
translated into
actions. Based on what
the Bible teaches, we
feel very strongly about
the following nine
practices:
Scripture - We believe
that God's inherent word
is our final authority
for faith and practice
(2Tim 3:16)
The
God Head - The
Father, The Son and The
Holy Spirit all are in
Jesus Christ. We are
complete in Him (Col.
2:9-10)
Christ's Headship
- We acknowledge Christ
as the head of our
ministry and submit
ourselves and all our
activities to His
sovereignty (Col. 1:18)
Great Commission - We
are convinced that
Christ's will and
mission for His church
is the Great Commission
that commands and
exhorts us to make and
mature disciples at home
and abroad (Matt
28:19-20)
Servanthood
- With the Savior as our
leader and example, we
seek to conduct
ourselves with
Christ-like humility,
putting others ahead of
ourselves (1 Cor. 9:19,
Gal. 5:13)
Transformation - We
believe that God's
desire is to transform
all of His churches into
the likeness of His Son.
That means the WORD
never change, but our
forms must regularly
change to reach a lost,
dying world (Rom.
12:1-2, 1 Cor. 9:22)
Creativity and
Innovation - We will
constantly evaluate our
forms and methods,
seeking biblical
accuracy with cultural
relevance for maximum
service of Christ
(Acts 2:17, 1 Cor.
9:19)
Excellence - Since
God gave His best (the
Savior), we seek to
honor Him by maintaining
a high standard of
excellence in all
activities (Col.
3:23-24)
Anointing - The
filling of and power of
the Holy Spirit. (Rom.
15:13, Acts 1:8, Jn.
4:16-17)
