Wedding Music

As you consider music for your wedding, please be mindful to make selections that are suitable for worship service.  All music that will be used in the wedding, including song lyrics, must be submitted to the Executive Office and approved four weeks prior to your wedding.  You are responsible for contacting, engaging and paying for any vocalists and instrumentalist you choose to perform.

Flowers and Decorations

Your florist will have access to the Sanctuary and/or Fellowship Hall 2 hours before the start of the ceremony.  All flowers and decorations must be remove immediately following the ceremony and pictures.  The church does not store wedding decorations and will be disposed of any decorations left behind.  The Daily Bread does not provide candles, candle lighters or candelabras.  In order to protect the Sanctuary furnishing, plastic materials must be placed under all floral arrangements and candles.  Please be careful not to mar woodwork or damage carpeting. Nails, staples, adhesives, etc. are not permitted. Sanctuary furniture may not be altered or moved without approval.

Photography

Photographs and videotape should be taken in a way that is not disruptive to the worship service.  No flash photography should be used during the ceremony.  All photos taken after the wedding ceremony must be completed within 30 minutes following the conclusion of the ceremony.  The Sanctuary is only available to photographers 1 hour before the ceremony and immediately following the ceremony. All persons involved in photography or videotaping must be appropriately dressed for the wedding.

Rehearsal

Your wedding rehearsal will be scheduled for 2 hours on the evening before your wedding date.  You must adhere to the scheduled start and end time.  It is important that all members of your wedding party attend rehearsal and arrive on time.

Wedding Party

It is expected that all members of the wedding party and any outside service providers will understand that the church is a house of God and will conduct themselves in a manner befitting a place of worship.  Dressing rooms will be available for the bridal party 3 hours before the start of the ceremony. The church is not responsible or liable for personal items such as clothing, purses, etc. that may be brought to the church if such items are lost, stolen or damaged.  Prior to both the rehearsal and the wedding it is expected that members of the wedding party refrain from consumption of alcoholic beverages. No alcoholic beverages may brought onto or consumed on church premises at any time, including the parking lot.  Any violation of these rules will result in automatic loss of your deposit and may result in cancellation of your wedding.  Rose pedals may only be dropped atop an aisle runner.  No birdseeds, rice, confetti or glitter may be dropped in the church or or outside of the church.  Bubbles may be used outside of the church to celebrate the exit processional.  It is the obligation of the bride and groom to ensure that all members of the wedding party understand and abide by these rules.
